# Share groups

## :handshake: What are share groups?

Share groups help **maximize your closet visibility** :eyes: by working with other Poshmark sellers to share your items.

When you join a [share group](https://poshmark.com/brand/SHARE%20GROUP), you're expected to share your group's items to your followers and they will share your items to their followers. Since your followers may not have too much overlap, your items will be **seen by more users = more sales**:rocket:.

Previously this was a very tedious task that was not worth your effort due to the massive time :stopwatch: investment of sharing other closets. We've turned this into a **simple and effortless** task that can now be done with a single tap :point\_up\_2:. 

## :man\_technologist: How does it work?

First step is to find an existing [share group](https://poshmark.com/brand/SHARE%20GROUP) or to create one. Once you're in a share group, select the items that you want other members in the group to share.

When you're ready, tap the **Share** button to share all the members' selected items to your followers. They will be doing the same :bangbang:

:skull\_crossbones: Groups have a share frequency (daily or weekly). If you fail to share based on the group's frequency, your items automatically stop :octagonal\_sign: being shared by other members until you start sharing again.

## Create a share group

1. Go to the **Share Group** card and select **New Group** on the top right.
2. Select the group that you created.
3. Add a description to give new members an idea of what your group is about.
4. Select a **frequency** :calendar\_spiral: that you want members to share.
5. Add members to your group so that they can join. You must reach out to each member you add to let them know to **download ClosetMate** :mobile\_phone: **and join your group**.
6. Select the items you want other members to share. **We recommend having a limit and rotating your items**. Although sharing is now easier, you don't want it to take a long time to share otherwise members could lose their patience and abandon your group .
7. Tap **Share** to start sharing other members' items and to have your selected items added to the rotation:sunglasses: .

## Join a share group

[Share groups](https://poshmark.com/brand/SHARE%20GROUP) found through Poshmark are probably still manually sharing members' items. Reach out to the group organizer to create a group in **ClosetMate** or start your own.

1. Go to [share groups](https://poshmark.com/brand/SHARE%20GROUP) in Poshmark and request to join. If they aren't using **ClosetMate** for their share group, ask them to try it out :stuck\_out\_tongue\_winking\_eye:.
2. Go to the **Share Groups** card and find the group under the **Invited** section
3. Select the items you want to be shared in the group. This automatically accepts the group invitation.
4. Tap **Share** to start sharing other members' items and to have your selected items added to the rotation:sunglasses:.
