😞 Why does the app close when trying to share?

UPDATE 3/19/22: A bug was introduced in version 1.22.0 that causes the app to terminate for some users when they view their closet. Please update to the latest version (1.22.1) to resolve this issue.

🗓️ Why did my shares not reset for the month?

Your shares should reset on the 1st of the month. If your shares did not reset, please contact us at support@fatchickenstudios.com with your Poshmark username and email.

How do I change or cancel my subscription?

🔑 I can't log in!

If you are having issues logging in, please first check if it is a problem with Poshmark: https://status.poshmark.com/.

If you forgot your password, you will need to reset your password through Poshmark.

If it isn't an issue with Poshmark, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

🤖 Are Poshmark bots allowed? Can using a bot get me banned?

Automation is against Poshmark's community guidelines, but Poshmark uses other methods to prevent excessive (i.e. 1000 shares/minute) bot abuse. ClosetMate is designed to mimic human activity and restricts the speed that you can share at, so it would be difficult for Poshmark to know you are using a bot. It is unlikely your account will get banned, but the use of ClosetMate is at your own risk.

Poshmark Community Guidelines states the following regarding automated participation:

Do not use programs or other forms of automation to participate on Poshmark. This includes, but is not limited to liking, sharing, following, and unfollowing.

Poshmark also states the penalties for violating their Community Guidelines:

Should we find your account to be in violation of any of the above, we may send you an email or take permanent or temporary action on your account privileges.

🤔 I'm subscribed but it's telling me I'm hitting my limit

If you are a subscriber, we remove the 5000 per month limit of our bot. This means you can share as many items as Poshmark will allow. If you share a significant amount in a short amount of time, however, it's possible that you will hit the Poshmark share limit.

To avoid hitting the Poshmark share limit, select "Share in Groups" in the share settings and change your share settings (increase time between shares or reduce the amount of items per group) until you can share consistently without hitting Poshmark's limit. Since every user has a different amount of active items in their closet, these settings will be different for everyone and you will need to use trial and error to figure out the best settings for your closet.

☑️ Why can't I select my entire closet?

You can select a maximum of 25 items in your closet. If you have more than 25 items, you can purchase a subscription to select you entire closet and easily share it.

Closet Shares and Party Shares in the Trends charts only records the shares made from within the ClosetMate app. Any shares done through the Poshmark app or website are not recorded. If you want to analyze how your closet and party shares affect your community shares, likes, and follows, you should share only through the ClosetMate app.

👀 Why doesn't my entire closet show up?

Your closet is automatically filtered to remove items that have been sold or are not available. If you want to share items in your closet that are not for sale, please use the Poshmark app or website.

🗑️ Why is my closet empty when I select a party?

Your closet is automatically filtered based on the party guidelines. If your closet is empty after selecting a party, you don't have any items that match the party's required department, category, brand, size, condition, etc.

🔓 How do I login with Facebook or Google?

If you signed up with Poshmark using your Facebook or Google account, you will need to set a username/email and password in your Poshmark account settings to use ClosetMate. You can update your email/password from the following link: https://poshmark.com/user/account-info

Why is my entire closet shown when I select a party?

If your entire closet is showing up after selecting a themed party, Poshmark may not have updated the allowed themes for the party yet. To fix this, return to the main screen, select "Share to Party" and select the party when it gets closer to the scheduled start time.

😡 I've already subscribed, but it's asking me to subscribe again!

Thanks for being a subscriber! Sometimes receipt verification from Apple servers can be delayed or fail making it seem like you haven't subscribed. Don't worry though, this can be fixed! Go to settings and tap "Restore Purchases". This will check your receipt from Apple and confirm your subscription is still valid. If this happens to you repeatedly, please contact us so that we can see what is going on.
